Wir sind ein freier Zusammenschluss von Cowboys aus der ganzen Welt. Wir versuchen das Image der Working Cowboys gerade in den deutschsprachigen Ländern wieder ins richtige Licht zu rücken. Denn gerade hier ist der Lasso werfende Cowboy mehr aus dem Rodeo, als aus der wirklichen Ranch Arbeit bekannt. Es ist jeder willkommen, der sich für echtes und nachhaltiges Horsemanship/Stockmanship interessiert. Ressourcen schonen statt sie zu verbrauchen.
Eine der komplexesten und spannendsten Aufgaben eines Cowboys ist der Umgang mit dem Ranch Rope um Rinder zu fangen und zu behandeln. Das Vorbild ist die wirkliche Ranch Arbeit, wie sie seit Generationen im Westen der USA und Canada ausgeübt wird. Man merkt schnell, dass dieser Umgang nicht einfach zu erlernen ist. Auf dem Weg zur Perfektion entwickelt man sich über Jahre hinweg hoffentlich zu einem guten Roper, einem guten Horseman, einem guten Cattleman, einem guten Schüler und vielleicht wird man nebenbei zu einem besseren Menschen.

Ranch Roping Clinics
Ranch Roping Basic (1 Tag)
Bei dem Basic Kurs lernen Anfänger aber auch Fortgeschrittene die Basistechnik des Ranch Roping (Lasso werfen) vom Boden auf den Dummy. Von Materialkunde über Sidearm Würfe auf Head und Heel, bis zu Techniken sein Pferd an das Rope zu gewöhnen. Je nach Können wird die Gruppe aufgeteilt um auch die fortgeschrittenen Würfe zu lernen wie z.B. Houlihan, Backhand, Del Vieto, … Jeder wird dort abgeholt wo er steht.
Ranch Roping Horseback (1-2 Tage)
Nachdem nun das Werfen vom Boden auf den Dummy trainiert wurde, geht es in diesem Kurs darum, vom Pferd auf den Dummy zu werfen. Das Pferd sollte hier schon in den ersten Schritten vom Boden an das Rope gewöhnt worden sein. Zudem werden Haltung der Zügel und des Ropes geübt, wie auch die Dallytechnik, um später das Rind sicher fixieren zu können. Im Ranch Roping sollte ein Pferd flüssig in alle Richtungen bewegt werden können. Ob Rückwärts, Seitwärts, Vor- und Hinterhandwende, …
Ranch Roping Breakaway (2 Tage)
In diesem Kurs geht es erstmals ans Rind. Ein großer Anteil dieses Kurses besteht also auch aus Cowwork und Ranchsorting. Zudem wird die Dallytechnik vertieft und die Positionierung beim Heading und Heeling geübt. Mit dem Breakaway werden verschiedenste Würfe vom Pferd aufs Rind geübt und mit der Sorting und Dallytechnik verknüpft.
Ranch Roping Pro (3-5 Tage)
Dieser Kurs ist für Könner, die sich schon seit Jahren mit Ihrem Pferd und dem Rope beschäftigen. Der Kurs wird in Canada durchgeführt und beinhaltet mindestens ein Branding oder Roping Wettbewerb.

We are a free association of Cowboy’s from around the world . We will try to put the Image of the working Cowboy’s to the right light, especially in German-speaking countries . Precisely here, the cowboy is known more from the Rodeo , as from the real ranch work . Everyone is welcome who is interested in genuine and sustainable horsemanship / stockmanship . Saving resources rather than consume them.
One of the most complex and exciting tasks of a Cowboy’s is handling the Ranch Rope to catch cattle and treat. The prototype is the real ranch work , as practiced for generations in the western US and Canada . One quickly realizes that this approach is not easy to learn . On the way to perfection it develops over many years hopefully a good Roper, a good horseman, a good cattleman, a good student , and perhaps it will be the way to a better person.

Ranch Roping Clinics
Ranch Roping Basic (1 day)
In the basic clinic greenhorns and advanced ropers can learn the fundamental techniques of ranch roping. Here we concentrate on groundwork dummy roping. Starting from material science over sidearm shots to head and heels up to techniques to accustom your horse with the rope. It’s up to the skill’s, if we will have a look to advanced shot’s like the Houlihan, Backhand, Del Vieto, … Everyone will be picked up where it stands.
Ranch Roping Horseback (1-2 days)
After we practiced the ranch roping techniques from the ground, we will proceed from horseback to the dummy. It’s good practice that the horse is already used to the rope while standing on the ground. We will practice the rein handling in combination with the rope and dally techniques to fix the cattle safely. In Ranch Roping the horse should move freely and fluently in every direction. Backing up, Sideways, Front and Hint turns,…
Ranch Roping Breakaway (2 days)
In this clinic it’s time to work with real cattle. A large proportion of this course therefore also consists of Cowwork and Ranchsorting. In addition the dally technique will be deepened and also the positioning on cattle for head and heel shots. With the Breakaway Rope we will practice different shots on the cattle and link it with sorting and dallying techniques.
Ranch Roping Pro (3-5 days)
This course is for experts dealing for years with horses, cattle and the Rope. The course will be conducted in Canada and includes at least one branding or roping competition.

Ranch Roping Horseback (1-2 days)
After we practiced the ranch roping techniques from the ground, we will proceed from horseback to the dummy. It’s good practice that the horse is already used to the rope while standing on the ground. We will practice the rein handling in combination with the rope and dally techniques to fix the cattle safely. In Ranch Roping the horse should move freely and fluently in every direction. Backing up, Sideways, Front and Hint turns,…
Ranch Roping Breakaway (2 days)
In this clinic it’s time to work with real cattle. A large proportion of this course therefore also consists of Cowwork and Ranchsorting. In addition the dally technique will be deepened and also the positioning on cattle for head and heel shots. With the Breakaway Rope we will practice different shots on the cattle and link it with sorting and dallying techniques.
Ranch Roping Pro (3-5 days)
This course is for experts dealing for years with horses, cattle and the Rope. The course will be conducted in Canada and includes at least one branding or roping competition.

We are a free association of Cowboy’s from around the world . We will try to put the Image of the working Cowboy’s to the right light, especially in German-speaking countries . Precisely here, the cowboy is known more from the Rodeo , as from the real ranch work . Everyone is welcome who is interested in genuine and sustainable horsemanship / stockmanship . Saving resources rather than consume them.
One of the most complex and exciting tasks of a Cowboy’s is handling the Ranch Rope to catch cattle and treat. The prototype is the real ranch work , as practiced for generations in the western US and Canada . One quickly realizes that this approach is not easy to learn . On the way to perfection it develops over many years hopefully a good Roper, a good horseman, a good cattleman, a good student , and perhaps it will be the way to a better person.

In the basic clinic greenhorns and advanced ropers can learn the fundamental techniques of ranch roping. Here we concentrate on groundwork dummy roping. We are a free association of Cowboy’s from around the world . We will try to put the Image of the working Cowboy’s to the right light, especially in German-speaking countries . Precisely here, the cowboy is known more from the Rodeo , as from the real ranch work . Everyone is welcome who is interested in genuine and sustainable horsemanship / stockmanship . Saving resources rather than consume them.
One of the most complex and exciting tasks of a Cowboy’s is handling the Ranch Rope to catch cattle and treat. The prototype is the real ranch work , as practiced for generations in the western US and Canada . One quickly realizes that this approach is not easy to learn . On the way to perfection it develops over many years hopefully a good Roper, a good horseman, a good cattleman, a good student , and perhaps it will be the way to a better person.

Ranch Roping Clinics
Ranch Roping Basic (1 day)
In the basic clinic greenhorns and advanced ropers can learn the fundamental techniques of ranch roping. Here we concentrate on groundwork dummy roping. Starting from material science over sidearm shots to head and heels up to techniques to accustom your horse with the rope. It’s up to the skill’s, if we will have a look to advanced shot’s like the Houlihan, Backhand, Del Vieto, … Everyone will be picked up where it stands.
Ranch Roping Horseback (1-2 days)
After we practiced the ranch roping techniques from the ground, we will proceed from horseback to the dummy. It’s good practice that the horse is already used to the rope while standing on the ground. We will practice the rein handling in combination with the rope and dally techniques to fix the cattle safely. In Ranch Roping the horse should move freely and fluently in every direction. Backing up, Sideways, Front and Hint turns,…
Ranch Roping Breakaway (2 days)
In this clinic it’s time to work with real cattle. A large proportion of this course therefore also consists of Cowwork and Ranchsorting. In addition the dally technique will be deepened and also the positioning on cattle for head and heel shots. With the Breakaway Rope we will practice different shots on the cattle and link it with sorting and dallying techniques.
Ranch Roping Pro (3-5 days)
This course is for experts dealing for years with horses, cattle and the Rope. The course will be conducted in Canada and includes at least one branding or roping competition.

In this clinic it’s time to work with real cattle. A large proportion of this course therefore also consists of Cowwork and Ranchsorting. In addition the dally technique will be deepened and also the positioning on cattle for head and heel shots. With the Breakaway Rope we will practice different shots on the cattle and link it with sorting and dallying techniques.
Ranch Roping Pro (3-5 days)
This course is for experts dealing for years with horses, cattle and the Rope. The course will be conducted in Canada and includes at least one branding or roping competition.
